FONTANA Let Ziva, Nell, and Jenny make your event absolutely unforgettable!

In addition to performances with Fontana, Nell plays numerous concerts and recitals each season in Kansas City. Recently, she has performed in the St. Joseph Symphony, the Independence Symphony, the Lawrence Chamber Orchestra, and the Kansas City Symphony. She also serves on the executive board of the Chamber Music Society of Kansas City.

Teaching is a very important part of Nell's life in music. She serves on the music faculties of Missouri Western State University and Kansas City Kansas Community College. She also maintains an elite private studio full of eager young artists.

Nell loves travel, cooking, movies, reading, practicing yoga and martial arts, watching CU football, and hanging out with her pet cat Baba O'Riley.

Fontana's violist and co-founder, Nell has lived in the Kansas City area since August 2000. She grew up in southern California, raised amidst a family of professional musicians. She studied viola at the Interlochen Arts Academy and the University of Colorado, and has performed recitals concerts all over the continental United States and in Europe.
